About the Publisher

My name is Erik Haan, and I publish this blog.

I started it because Our Lady of Medjugorje's messages have become central to my life, and I feel an inner calling to learn more about them and spread the messages to family and friends. The purpose of this blog is to motivate me to continue finding resources about the reported apparitions and to share with you those which I feel are the best in explaining what is happening, so you and I live the full, holy life Our Lady calls us to.

I first learned about the messages while in college. I was always interested in the spiritual, and while searching the Web one day I came across information about Medjugorje. It became like a magnet I kept coming back to. I wanted to learn more about what was happening and why, and whether or not these "visionaries" were crazy. The more I read, the more I was intrigued and the more I became a believer.

One day my future wife (Kristen, pictured above) and I were in a tough spot, due to a living situation that had gone awry. It put us in a desperate situation and, because of that, I figured I would try to pray the Rosary, which I had never done before but which I kept reading in my Medjugorje materials was important, as we had nothing to lose. We came out of that situation just fine, as a result of some interesting circumstances that left me wondering: Was it because of praying the Rosary?

I came to understand it was not an accident, and the events which transpired put me on a path to discovering a deeper faith and in fully heeding Our Lady of Medjugorje's messages.

My professional career has centered around using online tools to help small businesses succeed, and I'm doing my best to use those skills to spread the word about Our Lady of Medjugorje to as many as possible.

Thanks for reading. Write me anytime, with any questions or suggestions you have.

Sincerely,
Erik
